Since 1971, the Marks family has been a fixture in aviation services in the greater Mobile, AL area. Through the years, we’ve been involved in many aviation segments including: FBO operations, a commuter airline, aircraft sales/acquisitions, private jet charter, corporate aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, and aviation management services. It’s been a lifelong family passion and we continue our love of aviation in the operations of Jet Services, Inc.
Jet Services, Inc. began operations in April of 2010 as an aircraft management firm. In September of 2013, we were awarded our Air Carrier certificate and began charter operations based out of the Mobile Regional Airport. We are ARGUS Gold Rated, Wyvern Registered and offer jet charter in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and the Bahamas as well as other Caribbean destinations. In the summer of 2023, Jet Services Maintenance, Inc. (JSM) was awarded an Air Agency Certificate to operate as a Part 145 Repair Station. Our experienced maintenance department provides a one-stop solution for most scheduled/AOG situations on many popular aircraft platforms.

Our Team
Sean Marks
Sean serves as the President and Director of Operations for Jet Services, Inc. (JSI) Sean is also the Accountable Manager for the Jet Services Maintenance (JSM) part 145 Repair Station. He has been a professional pilot since 2001, has several type ratings in business jet aircraft, and holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate. At JSI, Sean is responsible for the overall operation and is specifically tasked with directing the air carrier operations for the company. He is also the primary contact for FAA inspectors who are assigned to vet all aspects of company flight and maintenance operations.
Through the years, Sean served as Director of Safety, Director of Training, Check Airman and General Manager for Charter Services, Inc., a Mobile, AL based part 135 Air Carrier. Along with his responsibilities at Jet Services, Sean also serves as President and Co-founder of jetKey Management, Inc., where he serves as a Captain on a managed HondaJet.
Sean continues to focus on safe and efficient ways to improve our charter offerings at Jet Services. He has been committed to creating career aviation opportunities for local professional pilots while continuing to provide consumers in our region with safe and reliable aviation services.
All of these experiences make Sean an invaluable part of the management team at Jet Services, Inc.
While not at work, Sean enjoys spending time with his family. He has been married to his wife, Aldridge, since 2007 and they have three children.
Kevin Marks
Kevin is Vice President of Jet Services. He earned his Aviation Management degree from Auburn University in 2005 and has worked in the private/charter sector of professional aviation since 2006.
After graduation from Auburn, he joined Charter Services in his home town of Mobile, AL flying their Citation 500 series aircraft in part 91 and 135 operations. He worked in various roles at Charter Services including towing aircraft, fueling, aircraft detailing, and facility maintenance along with his flying responsibilities. Kevin earned his pilot-in-command type rating on the Citation 500 in 2008.
In 2010, Kevin went to work for Jet Services as Vice President and captain on the Citation 500 series. He served as the Chief Pilot from 2014 until 2024. Today, he remains as Vice President along with serving as a Captain and company Check-Airman. While at Jet Services, he has been an integral part in company growth while representing clients through the Acquisition & Sales process of their aircraft. Over his career, he has worked with many talented individuals in the aviation industry giving him the experience to be an advisor for clients who want to buy an aircraft. Kevin’s experience in aircraft transactions and customer relations is one of the many important parts that make him an asset to Jet Services.
Kevin is a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL and is married to his wife Melissa. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and being on the water.
Bobby Marks (Deceased)
Bobby founded Jet Services, Inc. (JSI) and served as Executive Vice-President until his death in April, 2024. He started flying as a professional pilot in 1968 and has accumulated over 16,000 flight hours. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is type rated in the Citation 500, Citation 525 (single pilot) and Citation 650. Over the years, Bobby has served in various aircraft operator roles including Chief Pilot, Check-Airman and Director of Operations. At JSI, Bobby specializes in Marketing and Sales. He can assist with all facets of aircraft ownership and operations, including aircraft charter, aircraft acquisitions, owner operations, charter offerings to enhance owner revenues, maintenance and aircraft sales.
Bobby is married to his wife Gerry and they have three sons, Ryan, Sean and Kevin. Bobby and Gerry are both graduates of the University of South Alabama and they enjoy giving back to the university. Bobby served as the first President of the Jaguar Athletic Fund in 2007 and has remained on the board for 13 years. Gerry is the Director of Jag-Gals, a group of USA ladies who raise funds for tutor hours for student-athletes. Bobby and Gerry both received the Distinguished Alumni and Service Award from the USA Alumni Association in 2014.
John Baumgarten
John serves as the Director of Maintenance for Jet Services, Inc. along with leading Jet Services Maintenance, Inc. as the Repair Station Manager. He leads a team of maintenance technicians and staff members who are tasked with maintaining our aircraft charter fleet as well as servicing retail maintenance clients.
John, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, moved to the Mobile area at a young age. He’s always loved working with mechanical things and decided early on that aviation maintenance was the place for him. After high school, he enrolled in the Alabama Aviation Technical College and graduated in 1986 with his A&P license and then obtained his IA license thereafter. Through the years, he has gained extensive piston and turbine experience working for FBO maintenance shops, stand-alone maintenance facilities and part 135 air carriers.
Kenneth Mills
Ken serves as Chief Pilot and Director of Safety for Jet Services. He is a veteran who served 6 years on active duty in the United States Army as a helicopter repairer. He finished his pilot training and began his professional aviation career soon after his separation from the military in 2016.
Ken graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2018 with a degree in Aeronautics. He expanded his pilot experience as a captain for various small-feeder cargo airlines in the Pacific Northwest of the United States before moving back home to the South MS area and joining Jet Services in 2021.
Since joining Jet Services, Ken has earned his Airline Transport Pilot License and upgraded to Captain in both the Citation 500 series and in the Citation CJ series. His training in the military, education, and skills as a professional aviator give him the experience to be an effective leader in the cockpit and in the organization as the Director of Safety.
At home, Ken is a jack-of-all-trades around the house who is continually working on projects for his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Norah. The Mills household is always trying new dinner ideas and having fun family game nights.
